Continue to read more about my haul and the products I purchased!...
Real Techniques "Your Eyes Enchanced" Starter Kit, $17.99. Features the base shadow brush, deluxe crease brush, accent brush, fine liner brush, and brow brush. Also equipped with a case. I am so eager to try these brushes out! I am constantly on the hunt for more brushes for eye makeup because I never seem to be satisfied. I love Real Techniques and the girls at Pixiwoo, and their brushes never fail me.
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge, $5.99. "Your base/flawless." High definition results. Everyone everywhere is talking about this little sponge. Second to the Beauty Blender, of course. I have yet to try the Beauty Blender but it seems that the RT sponge is a knockoff of it's $20 original. I'm stoked to try this baby out! I sometimes use the sponges you can buy for no more than two bucks at WalMart. They leave a slightly natural looking finish, but they can soak up a lot of the product in them. I'm hoping this complexion sponge can give me full coverage with a natural finish.
A new brand for me that I'm trying out is the Kardashian beauty line, Khroma Beauty. I hadn't even heard they had a cosmetics line, I must be so late on the bandwagon!
Sparkle Lashes and Bardot Lashes, each $6.49. The first thing people notice are your eyes. Send them a personal message...Eyes are the most powerful communication tool. I am so excited to try these pretty lashes on! They had so many beautiful styles of lashes, some for everyday and some a little bit fun. They have a lot more products in their line that I'd have loved to try, but I wanted to stick with these lashes.
Revlon Powder Blush in Racy Rose, $10.49. I don't have a ton of blushes or bronzers outside of a pallette, so I've been trying to make an effort to look at some new ones and pick some up. When I saw this, I though it was a pretty, natural blush I could use on an everyday basis. After I walked out, I soon had buyer's regret because I realized I had just spend almost $11 on a basic colored blush! I wish I had ventured for the flirtier colors they hat, like the hot pink shade. I'm sure I will use it and probably even love it, but I just wish I had gotten a color more worth the money...
L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Curved Brush Mascara in Back, $7.99. Bold, volume building mascara. 5x fuller lashes. I only only one mascara. I know, it's a sin, but it's the Maybelline Falsies and I adore it. But like blush and bronzer, I've been wanting to expand my horizons with mascara too. I love that this mascara is fragrance free, but hate that it isn't waterproof! (I've been known to cry a lot while laughing.) Another plus is the packaging, which looks extremely polished and high-quality.
Maybelline The Rocket Volum'Express Mascara in Very Black, $7.49. Explosive volume, even from root to tip. 6x clump free volume. As stated earlier, I'm a huge fan of my Maybelline Falsies mascara, so I thought I'd give another Maybelline mascara a try. Mascaras to me are no different from one another. They all advertise the same things! I liked the interesting packaging at first, but after loving my L'Oreal Paris mascara, I find it a bit cheesy. The waterproof element to it is a huge plus, however!
OPI Nail Lacquer in Can't Find My Czechbook, $9.50. I'm not a big nail polish person, much like I'm not hugely into hair care. I wanted to ease my way into the nail lacquer world first because of the over abundance of products and colors to choose from. I promised myself whenever I go somewhere (Ulta, or just my local drugstore) that I would buy at least one nail product to try out. I chose this color simple because it's a beautiful blue! It doesn't photograph very well, but it's the perfect toned down aqua blue!
Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray Long-Lasting, $30.00. Stop makeup meltdown with this groundbreaking clinically tested formula. Now this, I am so, so excited for! I used to have the Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray, but it wasn't exactly what my face needed and I only ever got that in the travel size. I feel accomplished sitting here with this big old bottle of setting spray! I wear glasses most of the time and my makeup always rubs off where my glasses sit. Hopefully this can help everything stay put!
And this. My holy grail. My pride and joy. My love!
Urban Decay Pulp Fiction Revolution Lipstick in Mrs. Mia Wallace, $22. Quentin Tarantino is one of favorite directors of all time and Pulp Fiction is one of his greatest masterpieces. I wanted to buy the entire collection, but I knew I could only get one. So, I settled on the lipstick. Something I knew I would savor and treasure. I love this color. It is the most perfect red and it has such a rich color to it. It has a beautifully creamy texture, too! I need to get this whole collection. Honestly. I need to. I'll die without it. It's a perfect collection, I mean God damn! I said God damn! God damn.
So, that concludes my haul, but hopefully another one will be coming your way soon!
Have fun and be creative!
Tara.
